Description
- It is recommended as a means for temporary filling of cavities and root canals.
- As material for the biological treatment of pulp in the indirect or direct coating method.

CALVDENT paste contains calcium hydroxide and is recommended as a material for temporary fillings of cavities or root canals. It is used also as a material for biological treatment of pulp in the direct or indirect pulp capping.
The product contains barium sulphate that ensures good contrast of the canal filling in the X-ray image.
Directions for use:
Before applying the product, fix a disposable needle to a syringe in a manner securing its separation. Then squeeze a small amount of gel to equalize the pressure in the syringe and ensure the proper flow of the product through the needle.
Fill up the dried cavity or root canal with the paste. Enter the product to a length of 2-3 mm less than the measured length of the root canal. Remove the excess paste, and then tightly close the cavity.
In the method of direct or indirect pulp capping, after thorough cleaning and drying, apply the paste thinly on the exposed place or on the bottom of cavity near the pulp. Allow to dry or dry by a current of air. Close the cavity with base cement.
Leave the filling in the cavity or the root canal no longer than 4 weeks.
Contraindications:
Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity on some of the ingredients. Do not use in pregnant women. Do not use after expiry date.
Precautions:
Use cofferdam while handling the medical device. Irritating to eyes and skin. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. AFTER SWALLOWING: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse out mouth. Seek medical help immediately.
Do not use the device if any signs of damage are observed.
Expiry date does not change after opening under condition of tightly closing after each use.
Storage conditions:
Keep in a dry place, in tightly closed original packaging up to 25ºC. Protect from moisture.
Transportation conditions:
During transportation do not exceed +40ºC.
Expiry date:
Expiry date for use is printed on the immediate packaging.
Handling and storage of packaging:
Empty package recycle according to applicable provisions.
