Campfenol is recommended for use as a temporary dressing in the treatment of root canals and periapical lesions in dead teeth.
Directions for use:
Apply the liquid to the walls of the tooth chamber using a tampon with dressing cotton wool. Close the cavity with a tight temporary filling for 2 to 5 days. After this time, remove the dressing and rebuild the tooth.
Contraindications:
Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity to product components. Do not use in pregnant women. Do not use after the expiry date.
Precautions:
Do not use the product on live teeth. Do not use for more than 5 days. Do not use in the case of treatment with antibiotics, chemotherapeutics, corticosteroids and hydroxide and iodine ionophoresis.
Use a cofferdam when working with the product. Irritating to skin and eyes. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection, face protection. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice / attention. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue to rinse. If eye irritation persists, get medical advice / attention.
Do not use if you suspect damage of the immediate packaging. After opening the packaging, the shelf life does not change if it is sealed after each use.
The storage conditions:
Store in a dry place in the original tightly closed container, up to 25ºC. Protect from moisture.
The term of validity:
The expiry date can be found on the immediate packaging.
Handling packaging after the product:
Used packaging should be disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations.
Composition:
Camphor, phenol, ethanol (96%).
Direct packaging:
A glass bottle with a dropper containing 5 ml, 10 ml or 20 ml of the product.
