EDTA 15%

Description

  • Liquid for widening root canals
  • It is recommended during mechanical cleaning of root canals
  • It helps to unblock and clean the canal
  • Removes the smear layer, exposing the dentin tubules

Product destination:
THE MEDICAL DEVICE IS FOR DENTAL USE ONLY.
The product is used to rinse root canals. Cleans the root canal, including removal of the mineral part of the smear layer, to expose the dentin tubule opening before filling the root canal. The product contains disodium edetate, which, by flushing out calcium and magnesium ions, softens the surface layer of dentin, making it easier to remove and unblock the canal. The benzalkonium chloride contained in the product reduces surface tension, thanks to which the product penetrates into hard tooth tissues.

Directions for use:
Introduce 15% EDTA over 2/3 of the root canal length using a syringe with a needle. Insert the product into the canal using a syringe (e.g. luer-lock) with a needle attached in a manner that secures its separation.
Rinse with 2-3 ml of the product after each mechanical canal widening, preferably alternating with other products intended for rinsing the canals. After rinsing the canal, aspirate the liquid and its contents. After rinsing the root canal, the excess amount in the syringe should be disposed of – never pour back into the container.
