CALVDENT SUSPENSION
Description
- The product is used to rinse the root canals with or after exfoliation,
- Can be used to flush the cutting surface of the pulp after its lifeaming amputation.
- Does not work on the syzista layer of the tooth canal.

THE MEDICAL DEVICE IS FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY.
It is especially recommended for rinsing out root canals with non-vital pulp or after its extirpation.
It can be used also for rinsing pulp’s cutting surface after its vital amputation.
Calcium hydroxide contained in the product in the form of suspension reaches to recesses and branches of root canal. It has no impact on root canal’s smear layer.
Composition:
Calcium hydroxide, purified water.
Directions for use:
The suspension undergoes sedimentation process during storage, so shake the product in order to obtain homogenous dispersion of particles in solution. The product can be used as transparent or milky suspension.
In order to rinse out canals with non-vital pulp or after its extirpation, fill the 2/3 of the root canal with the suspension using a syringe and a needle.
Enter the product to the canal with the use of a syringe (e.g., luer-lock type) and a needle fixed in a manner securing its separation. Irrigate root canal after removal of canal contents (pulp) and root canal preparation using syringe with needle.
The suspension has no impact on root canals. Before irrigation with CALVDENT suspension it is recommended to remove the smear layer by rinsing canals with EDTA (EDTA 15%) or citric acid solution (Citric acid 40%).
After vital amputation rinse pulp’s cutting surface with CALVDENT suspension, dry gently and protect by non-setting calcium hydroxide liner (CALVDENT powder).
Contraindications:
Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity on some of the ingredients. Do not use in pregnant women. Do not use after expiry date.
Precautions:
Do not use a powerful liquid jet during root canal rinsing because this may result that liquid can get to periapical tissues and irritate them which is manifested by pain and swelling of soft tissues.
Use cofferdam while handling the medical device. Irritating to eyes and skin. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. AFTER SWALLOWING: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse out mouth. Seek medical help immediately.
Do not use the device if any signs of damage are observed.
Expiry date does not change after opening under condition of tightly closing after each use. Shake before use.
Storage conditions:
Keep in a dry place, in tightly closed original packaging up to 25ºC. Protect from direct sunlight.
